Jain Monk Dr. Ajitchandra Sagar ji Maharaj Sets New Record : Memorizes 1000 Things On Spot and Recreating History After 650 Years

Mumbai : Jain Monk Dr. Ajitchandra Sagar ji Maharaj has etched his name in history by achieving a remarkable feat known as Sahasravdhan, where he memorized 1000 things on the spot. This extraordinary accomplishment, realized on May 1, 2024, highlights the boundless potential of the human mind when cultivated through meditation and concentration. Dr. Ajitchandra Sagar ji Maharaj’s journey to this pinnacle began with Shatavadhan (memorizing 100 things), progressing to Dwishatavadhan (200 things), and eventually mastering Mahashatavadhan (500 things).
The event, held at NSCI Stadium in Worli, Mumbai, witnessed a distinguished gathering of guests from various sectors, including entertainment, law enforcement, corporate, medical, and academia. Notable personalities in attendance included Chief Minister of Maharashtra Hon. Eknath Shinde, Minister of Skills Employment, Entrepreneurship & Innovation Govt. of Maharashtra Mr. Mangal Prabhat Lodha, and renowned director Mr. Subhash Ghai.
Hon. CM Eknath Shinde lauded the monumental achievement, stating, “We are witnessing a wonderful feat today of Saraswati Sadhana. I appreciate Muniji for conducting Sahasravdhaan in Maharashtra and bringing it live for the audiences. Sadhana is important for all in all fields. I would like to announce the introduction of Saraswati Sadhana in schools of the state soon. This will help the students achieve more and motivate them to be successful ahead.”
Dr. Ajitchandra Sagar ji Maharaj was conferred the title of “Sahasravdhani” by High Court Justice Tated upon completing the 1000 Avdhan, a feat not accomplished in over 650 years. Under the guidance of Acharya Shri Nayachandra Sagar Suriswarji Maharaj, he demonstrated exceptional prowess in memorization from a young age, culminating in the historic Sahasravdhan-1000 Avadhan.
Sahasravdhani Dr Ajitchandra Sagar ji Maharaj said, “Today marks a historic milestone not only in my journey but also in the realm of human achievement. Completing the Sahasravdhan, memorizing 1000 things on the spot, has been a profound test of my dedication and the power of meditation. I am humbled by this accomplishment and grateful for the guidance of my guru and the support of all those who have witnessed and celebrated this moment with me.” The Saraswati Sadhana Research Foundation is nearing completion of the construction of Jirawala Dham, a Jain temple and Saraswati Mata Mandir, located in Coorg, Karnataka.
The program featured a diverse range of questions, including challenging mathematical queries, quotes, and poems, all of which Dr. Ajitchandra Sagar ji Maharaj answered comprehensively. An intriguing aspect of the event was joint attention, where 15 simultaneous processes occurred around him, showcasing his exceptional focus and cognitive prowess.
