KVB donates Rs. 2.25 cr. for construction of classroom block under CSR initiative
Chennai: The newly constructed class room block of the Municipal Higher Secondary School, Karurfunded by KarurVysya Bank under its CSR initiatives, was inaugurated by Tmt. S. Malarvizhi, I.A.S.,Karur District Collector on 26thFebruary 2021 (Friday).
KarurVysya Bank has donated a sum of Rs. 2.25 crores from its Corporate Social Responsibility funds towards construction of the classroom block consisting of 16 classrooms and 2 laboratories. Rotary Club of KarurTexcitycollaborated with the Bank in this project.
KarurVysya Bank actively supports several social, educational and health related initiatives within Karur which is the place where the bank commenced business 105 years ago. KVB is proud to be associated with the project, which will support the educational aspirations of several thousands of students in the years to come.
